Custom Music: This is an original piece of piano music that Dovida will improvise, custom-tailored for the recipient, the occasion, and the sentiment you wish to convey through your gift. 

Dovida started playing the piano at age 2 and has the very rare ability to sensitively tune into both the giver and the recipient. Once she has done this, her hands, honed by years of playing and creating music, do the rest.

Piano Music Album: All recordings are original piano improvisations by Dovida Goodman.

If you order is for custom piano music, you will promptly be contacted by email or phone to arrange a time for a call or zoom meeting with Dovida. This will be approximately 15 minutes and Dovida will ask you about the person she will be creating music for, your relationship with the person, as well as what sentiment you want to convey. This can be done through an email exchange if necessary, but Dovida gets a much better sense of the people she is serving through a phone call or zoom meeting, so every effort is made to accommodate this.

If your order is for an album, you will receive an email with download instructions.

• Phone call or zoom interview with Dovida to get to know you and the person you wish to gift.
• One-of-a-kind piano piece delivered through email/download as a high-quality mp3 file. Other formats such as .wav and .m4a are available upon request. 
• Customized, artful digital gift card that will be emailed* to the recipient along with the audio of the piano piece on the date you specify. The digital card can have any message you would like. *Please note – a .wav file is too large to directly email and will have to be downloaded by recipient.
• You will be sent a copy of the email with the card and audio being sent to the recipient in advance.
• For any pre-recorded music purchased – you will be emailed instructions for download. 

Each piece created is unique and generally 3-5 minutes in length. Most of Dovida’s works are very well suited to be “played on a loop” for long periods of time. We hear this from past customers all the time, and “playing them all day or all night” is mentioned in the testimonials.

Dovida requests a 2 week lead time. Rush jobs (less than 1 week) are available for an extra cost. Cost depends on the turnaround time required. Contact us for more information. Rest assured, Dovida never compromises on quality.

Alternatively, a beautiful, artistic digital card can be sent on the exact date you specify letting the recipient know that you are having this unique piece of music created specially for them as a gift and they will receive it in 2 weeks or less.

Whenever possible, Dovida will weave into the composition the favorite music of the recipient if it fits with the music being created.  Dovida follows the creative impulse, and if that can include parts of a favorite song – she will incorporate it. Sometimes bits of popular music show up spontaneously while Dovida is creating the music and she will weave this into the piece as well.

Of course you can share your music! However, for many reasons, Dovida must retain full ownership of all her original music and reserves the right to use all music she creates anywhere, and at any time. 

When you purchase a piece of original music from Dovida you are given a “Personal Use Only” License that provides you with your mp3 of the music gift. You may copy it, share it, always listen in a private setting with friends & family, share on private social media channels, or listen and share at un-branded events such as weddings and memorial services.

You own your mp3 copies of your piano music gift and can share it wherever you like…That is, however, as long as you and your friends, family, and associates are NOT using it for commercial purposes, you are totally fine!

Using your piece in any setting that is not Personal Use, without obtaining a Commercial License, is an illegal violation of our Terms of Use, and an illegal violation of the artist’s copyrights.
